Coates Village Hall is located in a pretty, rural setting in the heart of the village, just 3 miles from the historic town of Cirencester in Gloucestershire. The village hall was established in 1905 as a Reading Room, it was formally opened as a Village Hall in 1935. Today, it continues to provide a centre for the community of Coates and people from the surrounding areas, to meet and to enjoy social events.
The Main Hall : accommodating up to 60 people seated, 90 standing. This room has access to a fully equipped modern kitchen. It is equipped with a recently installed full audio-visual system, projector and large screen.
The Meeting Room : is suitable for up to 20 people seated. This room has a bar available on request which is staffed by volunteers (additional charges apply)
Both rooms and toilets have disability access.
The village hall has access to a defibrillator.
Car Parking for 12 cars is situated adjacent to the hall.

The Kitchen
Dimensions : 4.15m x 2.10m
The fully renovated kitchen, which is accessed from the Main Hall, provides everything needed to cater for events:
– Neuve oven – oven/grill

– Sink and hand washing basin
– Kettles, including 3L commercial and 9 litre urn
– Toasted sandwich maker
– Coffee percolator
– Hot water dispensers (airpot) for 40 cups

– Complete service of dinner plates, side plates, cups, saucers, soup/desert bowls and a selection of serving platters

It is a cosy place to meet up with friends and neighbours, available to all residents on Friday and Saturday evenings and during village events.
We have a comprehensive wine list, a local guest ale each week, and a range of soft drinks.

8pm to 11pm on Friday & Saturdays, and from 6pm on the first Friday of every month
